Toyota motor corporation and Suzuki motor corporation agreed to produce cars for each other in India

Toyota plans to increase its market share in the passenger car market 

Suzuki will supply petrol and mild petrol cars and hybrid versions of its Baleno hatchback, along with the Vitara Brezza compact SUV to Toyota  while the latter will produce gasoline and gasoline hybrid Corolla sedans for Suzuki

This partnership will help Toyota expand its presence in India, where it has struggled to grow sales due to decreasing demand for its lower-cost models. Selling rebadged Baleno and Vitara, Toyota can expand its market share 

As Suzuki is top of  the line in selling compact cars in India so Suzuki will make look for more in this deal

Manufacturing will be starting from mid -2019 

The vehicle made by Suzuki will be rebranded and renamed as Toyota cars and vice versa 
Production figures not revealed yet...
